Jiujiang, China - Before an announced crowd of 2,000 in the Olympic Sports Center Complex in Jiujiang, the NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars jumped out to a 25-8 lead and never looked back in beating Slovenia 88-45. Amy Kame had ten points in the first half and finished with 14, while Molly Schlemer poured in 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the American squad.
In all, five players scored in double figures including Tabitha Gerardot (14 points), Joy Burke (11 points, 8 boards), and Amber Moore (10 points). Camille Buckley continued her stellar rebounding with nine rebounds to accompany her six points and Ariel Thomas had another good all-around game scoring eight, grabbing six rebounds, dishing three assists, and taking four steals from the Slovenian guards.
