Angus Wins First Match at All-American's

TULSA, Okla. - Jordan Angus opened the ITA Men's All-American Championships with a victory on Monday.

The senior faced Valparaiso's Dave Bacalla in the qualifying men's singles bracket. Angus won the match in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. Tomorrow Angus will face UCLA's Martin Redlicki. The sophomore, Redlicki, enters the season with the No. 57 national ranking.

Two of Angus' teammates, Uros Petronijevic and Filip Vittek, will wait until Thursday to take the court when the main draw begins. Angus and Vittek (No. 17) will pair up in the doubles main draw on Thursday as well. The opponent and time of those matches are to be determined.
