Senior (2015-16): ITA All-American in Singles... All-WCC First Team selection in both singles and doubles... Advanced to Round of 16 in NCAA Singles Championships... Went 22-13 in singles with a 15-7 record in dual matches playing at the No. 1 spot... Was 6-1 in WCC singles matches... Was 8-6 against ranked opponents... Was 15-9 overall in doubles and 12-4 at the No. 1 spot... Named to the WCC All-Tournament Team for both singles and doubles... Was WCC Player of the Week three times, twice for singles and once dor doubles... Received career-high singles ranking of No. 20 (2/10/16).
Junior (2014-15): Became the second Torero to be named WCC Player of the Year (Dean Jackson, 2011)... Went 23-11 in singles and 15-5 in dual matches playing exclusively at the No. 1 spot... Sophomore (2013-14): An All-WCC second team selection in singles... Won a team-high 23 singles matches, going 23-12 overall and 13-8 in dual matches at the No. 2 spot... Went 5-2 against WCC opponents... Went 15-17 overall in doubles and 9-11 in dual matches... Went 8-11 at the No. 2 doubles spot, where he played with Romain Kalaydjian... Posted a 7-3 overall singles record and a 5-5 overall doubles mark... Achieved the highest amount of singles wins of the team in the fall season... Received a pre-season ranking of No. 119 in singles... Winner of the Solinco USTA Wildcard Shootout at the Napa Valley Tennis Classic.
Freshman (2012-13): Named WCC Freshman of the Year and ITA Southwest Region Rookie of the Year... Also earned All-WCC Honorable Mention honors in singles... Went 19-7 in dual singles play after joining the team in January... Played primarily at No. 4 singles, going 17-7 in that spot... Earned his first-career ITA singles ranking at No. 107 on Feb. 12, his highest ranking of the season.
High School/Junior: Held a world ranking of No. 999 and had defeated players that are in the top 500 of the world.
Personal: Born March 21, 1993 in Smederevo, Serbia... His father is Ivan Petronijevic... Came to USD for its academics and for its tennis program... Is close friends with former USD Tennis player Nikola Bubnic.
