Tulsa, Okla. - Jordan Angus has advanced to the main draw at the ITA All-American Championships after beating a ranked opponent for the second straight day. The Toreros are one of five programs with three players in the main singles draw.

In his final qualifying match Angus topped Texas Tech's No. 81 ranked
Alexander Sendegeya 6-1, 2-6, 6-3.

"It was quite the fight out there today for Jordan." Head Coach Ryan Keckley said on Wednesday. "He executed his game plan well in the first set and got away from what makes him so effective as a player the second set. He handled the added pressure quite well and, when push came to shove, came up big on some instrumental points in the third. I am very proud of him and excited to have three Toreros competing in the main attraction in Tulsa."

Angus will join Filip Vittek and Uros Petronijevic in the tournaments main draw tomorrow. The matches and times are to be determined as qualifying play finishes today.
