NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Toreros Men's Tennis team finished the second day of the Nation Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Friday.

The day started with a tough loss for doubles pair Jordan Angus and Filip Vittek (No. 17). In the quarterfinals the USD duo fell to New Mexico's Hayden Sabatka and Bart Van Leijsen 6-3, 7-6(3).

In singles play senior Uros Petronijevic (No. 30) picked up a victory in the consolation bracket. Petronijevic played Columbia's Shawn Hadavi in a close 7-6(4), 6-4 battle. He will face No. 19 Guillermo Nunez from TCU tomorrow in the consolation quarterfinal.
