NABC ALL-DISTRICT 9 TEAMS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 27, 2015) -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the NABC Division I All-District teams and UPS All-District coaches for 2014-15. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes and coaches represent the finest basketball players and coaches across America.

USD senior guard Johnny Dee (Vista, Calif.), who is the school's all-time scoring leader with 2,046 points, was selected to the All-District 9 Second Team, joining Kyle Collinsworth (BYU), Stacy Davis (Pepperdine), Mike Caffey (Long Beach State) and Alan Williams (UC Santa Barbara.).

The All-District 9 First Team was made up of Brad Waldow (Saint Mary's), Kyle Wiltjer (Gonzaga), Kevin Pangos (Gonzaga), Tyler Haws (BYU) and Corey Hawkins (UC Davis). Gonzaga's Mark Few was selected the UPS All-District 9 Coach of the Year.

Dee, who led the Toreros in scoring all four seasons, averaged 17.0 points per game this past season. He earned his second straight All-WCC First Team honor, as well as being selected to the 2015 Capital One Academic All-America Third Team. He also leaves USD as the program's all-time three-point shooter (333-835) and free throw marksman (.909).
