SAN DIEGO –
Summer Mason was named to the All-West Region second team as voted on by the United Soccer Coaches on Monday.
The senior forward has already been named to All-WCC second team for her 17 points this season, including six goals and five assists. She took 80 shots in 2018, which ties the all-time record for shots in a season at San Diego.
Mason has made a huge contribution to the Torero's offensive effort during her three years at USD. She has recorded 20 goals and 51 points, both placing her in the San Diego All-Time record book. She has received All-WCC honors every year, including first team honors and an honorable mention.
Mason has also excelled in the classroom, earning WCC All-academic first team and an honorable mention.
