Â
USD took control of the game late in the first half after a back-and-forth first 16 minutes. After Davis hit a 3-pointer to cut the Toreros lead to 28-26 with 3:59 to play in the half, USD went on an 11-2 run to take a 39-28 lead into halftime.

The Bears cut into the deficit slightly in the final minutes but a jumper by Floresca as the shot clock expired with 14 seconds remaining provided the punctuation mark on a 20-point victory.
Â
The Toreros will look to continue their momentum next week when they travel to the Las Vegas Classic for a pair of games in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. USD opens the tournament Saturday at 7 p.m. PT against Washington State.
