LOS ANGELES - On Saturday, San Diego fell to Loyola Marymount at their eighth conference match of the season. The Lions defeated the Toreros in a 4-0 decision.

USD's No. 1 doubles team of Nicole Anderson and Daniela Morales held off the No. 31 ranked Lions team Miroshnicheko and Voracek before LMU clinched the doubles point on courts two and three.

In singles play the Toreros faced tough competition on all courts and couldn't catch up to the Lion's early lead. LMU's No. 44 ranked Miroshnichenko defeated Anderson at the No. 1 position, 6-3, 6-2.

Voracek beat USD's Morales on court two 7-6 (7-3), 6-1, while LMU's Yesica De Lucas clinched the match on court four over Colomba DiFilippo 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.

San Diego picks up play at home for their last conference match of the season Sunday April 22 at 11 a.m.
