SAN DIEGO –
In a game that will play a significant role in determining the Pioneer Football League championship and automatic FCS Playoff bid, San Diego will host Drake in a matchup between two teams undefeated in conference play on Saturday at Torero Stadium.

The Toreros, who have won five straight games, 33 consecutive PFL contests and 36 home PFL games in a row, are off to a 4-0 start thanks to an offense that is leading the league in scoring and total offense in conference-only games. USD is the only team in the conference averaging 40 points per PFL game while it also has 501.2 yards of offense per game. For the entire season, the Toreros are fourth in the FCS in total offense (489.0 yards per game).

Drake, meanwhile, is carrying its own winning streak into Saturday, a four-game stretch since starting the season 0-3. The Bulldogs have scored 35 or more points in all four PFL games this season, but it is their defense that has played a big role in their conference performance. In addition to winning on average by 26 points, the Drake defense has held PFL opponents to 11.8 points thanks to allowing only six red zone chances in the four games. PFL teams have only scored on three of those six red zone trips.

Saturday's game will be available on the WCC Network, with the Voice of the Toreros Jack Cronin on the call. Live stats are also available on the Toreros' website.

LAST TIME OUT: TOREROS PUT UP 50 IN BALANCED OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE
- San Diego scored a season-high 50 points behind 303 rushing yards and 314 passing yards in a crucial 50-38 road win at Dayton in week nine. The Toreros put up a season-best in rushing yards behind a pair of 100-yard rushers in juniors Emilio Martinez (161 yards, 20 rushes) and Terrence Smith (139 yards, 11 carries) while redshirt senior Reid Sinnett threw for 300+ yards for the fifth time this year. USD extended its 22-20 halftime lead by scoring on four straight drives in the second half, three of which were capped by touchdown rushes from Smith. Michael Bandy caught nine passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns as he served as the primary target for Sinnett's 18 completions on 31 attempts.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST DRAKE

- Saturday will be the 27th all-time meeting between USD and Drake, with the Toreros holding a 15-11 advantage in the series.

- The Toreros have won six straight against the Bulldogs, including last year's meeting in Des Moines which resulted in a 27-10 decision in favor of the Toreros. Over the course of the active winning streak, USD has held Drake to 15 points or less in each game.

- USD has won seven of the last eight meetings and 11 of the last 14 since 2005.

AMONG THE BEST

- Redshirt senior Reid Sinnett is commanding one of the top offenses in the FCS and is top-10 in the country in seven major passing categories to show for it. The quarterback leads all FCS players in passing efficiency (187.4) while he is also second in total offense (349.3), passing yards per game (331.9), and passing touchdowns (25). He is third in completion percentage (69.3%) and ninth in both passing yards per completion (14.89) and total passing yards (2,323) as well.

- The first-year starter is also first in the FCS in yards per pass attempt (10.32).

- Sinnett is averaging 24.0 points responsible for per game, the second-best mark in the FCS. He trails Dayton's Jack Cook (24.9) for the top spot.

FCS LEADER - REID SINNETT
Passing Efficiency 187.4 1st
Total Offense 349.3 2nd
Passing Yds. Per Game 331.9 2nd
Touchdowns 25 2nd
Completion Percentage 69.3% 3rd
Passing Yds. Per Comp. 14.89 9th
Total Passing Yards 2,323 9th

- With four games left in the regular season, Sinnett's current passing efficiency of 187.4 would be the second-best in school history, trailing Josh Johnson's 198.3 from 2007.

- Sinnett is the PFL leader in completion percentage, completions per game, passing touchdowns, passing efficiency, passing yards, passing yards per game, yards per completion, and total offense.

OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION

- Under the guidance of Sinnett, the USD passing offense is second in the FCS in team passing efficiency (187.95) and fourth in pass offense (337.0). Last year, USD was first in the nation in passing efficiency (170.87) and second in passing offense (349.2). In each of the last three seasons, the Toreros have finished the season in the nation's top-25 in both categories.

- Also, USD is third in the FCS in completion percentage (69.6%) and fourth in total offense (489.0).

TRADITION OF EFFICIENCY

- The Toreros enter week 10 with the second-best team passing efficiency in the FCS with a PFL-leading 187.95 points.

- With four weeks left in the regular season, USD's team passing efficiency currently ranks as the third-best mark in FCS history.

- Of the top-25 marks in FCS history for team passing efficiency, San Diego holds six of the spots, including the all-time record of 197.3 helped set by NFL veteran Josh Johnson. No other school has more than three spots in the top-25 (Cal Poly). Also, the six marks span over 15 seasons and include three different head coaches.

ALL-AMERICAN CANDIDATE ONCE AGAIN

- Senior Michael Bandy nearly eclipsed the 200-yard mark at Dayton last week, as he totaled a season-high 194 receiving yards on nine catches. It was his third consecutive 100-yard game and fifth this season.

- In the last three games, Bandy has 26 catches, 483 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Those seven receiving touchdowns in the three-game stretch would rank tied for 17th in the FCS for the entire season.

- Bandy is second in the FCS in receiving yards per game (124.9) as well as third in receiving touchdowns and receiving yards (874).

- Bandy has 100+ yards in eight of his last 10 games dating back to last year and 15 100-yard games in his career.

BANDY MOVING UP THE CAREER CHARTS

- Michael Bandy continues to climb the USD career lists, as he is fourth in career receiving yards (3,016) and tied for fifth in career touchdowns (26). He is only the fourth receiver in USD history to have 3,000+ career yards.

- Bandy is also ninth on USD's career receptions list. His 166 receptions trail Reggie Bell (172, 2010-14) for eighth, Wes Doyle (173, 2004-07) for seventh, and Sam Hoekstra (178, 2010-13) for sixth.

- He is averaging 18.2 yards per reception in his career, which is currently tied for fourth-best in USD history.

- Among active FCS players, Bandy enters this week fourth in career receiving yards (3,016) and third in career average yards per game (79.4).

SCORING OUTPUT

- San Diego has scored a new season-high in points in each of the last three weeks, topping out with last Saturday's 50 points at Dayton. It was its most points in a game since scoring 56 against Davidson on November 10, 2018 (week 11) and most in a road game since October 6, 2018 at Morehead State in week six (51).

- San Diego has scored 30+ points in all seven games this year and in 10 consecutive games dating back to last season. It is the first time in program history the Toreros have scored 30+ points in at least 10 consecutive games.

- The Toreros are averaging 37.1 points per game, the third-best mark in the PFL and 10th in the FCS. Last year, the Toreros averaged 37.8 points per game, which was second in the conference and 10th in the FCS.

- The Toreros have scored 30+ points in 17 of their last 18 PFL games, a stretch that goes back to 2017.

EXPLOSIVE PLAYS

- The Toreros recorded a season-high 21 plays of 10+ yards in last week's win at Dayton, helping fuel the season-high in total yards (617) and points (50). They also had nine plays of 20+ yards, one shy of their season-best (10 at Cal Poly in week one).

- This season, USD has gained 10 or more yards on 26.9% of its plays (123 out of 458 total plays). Last week's average of 30.9% was the second time in three weeks it has gained 10+ yards on 30% or more of its plays.

- The Toreros also have 43 plays of 20+ yards (9.4% of all plays) and seven of 50+ (1.5%). Last year, USD had 80 offensive plays of 20+ yards (9.9%).

- In PFL-only games, 30% of USD's plays are for 10 or more yards (74/246) and 9.8% are 20 or more (24/246).

TAKING CARE OF IT

- A key part of USD's current five-game winning streak has been the limiting of turnovers as it has three turnovers during the stretch. It also has a +7 turnover margin during the streak.

- The Toreros are tied with Drake for the lead in the conference in turnover margin for conference-only games (+7).

- The Toreros turned it over six times (five interceptions, one fumble) in the first two games of the season, going 0-2.
