San Diego Host Hawaii

Toreros play Hawaii for their second home match

SAN DIEGO – After both a win and loss on the road last week, San Diego women's tennis (2-2) is back home Tuesday to play Hawaii (3-1).
 
The Toreros shutout Montana in Eugene last week, 4-0.
 
Gemma Garcia and Kati Kukaras won the first match in doubles, while Daniela Morales and Sophia Chow clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 victory.
 
Maria-Paula Torres, Kukaras and Solymar Colling all won on the singles court to win the match 4-0.
 
In their match against Oregon, the Toreros picked up the doubles point and Sophia Chow earned a point for San Diego in singles. The Toreros fell to the Ducks 5-2.
 
On Tuesday, USD will play Hawaii. Hawaii women's tennis is 3-1 after their latest win over UC Irvine, 6-1.
 
The Toreros will play the Rainbow Wahine on February 19 at 1 p.m.
