SAN DIEGO – San Diego heads to the Pacific Northwest this weekend for a matches against Washington and Gonzaga.

The Toreros (8-3) open the weekend on Thursday at 5 p.m. against the Huskies (3-7) before heading across the state to take on the Bulldogs (8-2) on Saturday at 12 p.m.

USD has won six of its last seven matches and earned a 4-3 win against No. 32 Oklahoma State and a 4-0 victory against Saint Mary's last week. The Huskies have dropped five of their last six matches, while Gonzaga enters the contest on a four-match winning streak.

Gui Osorio earned his second WCC Singles Player of the Week honor this past week after winning his singles match at No. 2 against Oklahoma State to help USD earn a 4-3 comeback victory.

Osorio won his doubles match and singles match – both at the No. 1 position – to lead USD to a 4-0 victory against Saint Mary's. His singles victory provided the clinching point in the contest.

Osorio has won three straight singles matches, is 4-1 at No. 1 and 4-2 at No. 2 this season.
