MORAGA, Calif. – No. 36 San Diego won four straight singles matches to earn a 4-2 comeback victory at Saint Mary's on Friday.
 
The Toreros (16-3, 7-1 WCC) fell behind 2-0 after dropping the doubles point and the first singles point but rallied for their 14th win in the past 15 matches.
 
Despite dropping the doubles point, Kati Kukaras and Gemma Garcia won their match at No. 3, 6-3. It is their 15th straight win and they improved to 7-0 against WCC opponents.
 
The Gaels (9-10, 5-3 WCC) doubled their lead with a victory at No. 3 in singles.
 
Maria-Paula Torres got USD on the board with a decisive 6-2, 6-4, victory at No. 5 against Jordan Harris.
 
The Toreros tied the match when Garcia knocked off Chloe Goyette at No. 2, 6-3, 7-6 (4). Garcia improved to 9-3 in dual matches.
 
Solymar Colling earned a gritty, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, win at No. 1 against Mariia Kozyreva. It was Colling's sixth straight victory and she improved to 6-0 in WCC play and 13-4 in dual matches.
 
Kukaras provided the clinching point with a win at No. 4 against Hind Abdelouahid, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4. It was her team-leading seventh straight victory.
 
The Toreros conclude the regular season on Saturday at noon when they take on Pacific.
