SAN DIEGO – No. 27 San Diego returns home this week to take on Santa Clara on Sunday at 1 p.m. PT.
 
The Toreros (14-4, 4-1 WCC) will look to bounce back after dropping a tough 4-3 decision last week at No. 42 BYU. The loss snapped an eight-match winning streak and an eight-match conference winning-streak dating back to April 12, 2018.
 
USD will look to avenge a loss last season against the Broncos (11-4, 2-2 WCC), which was the Toreros only loss against a conference team last year.
 
Gui Osorio has been excellent in doubles and singles play all season, playing all of his matches at either the No. 1 or No. 2 position. He is ranked No. 64 in the country in singles play.
 
August Holmgren and Joel Gamerov continue to provide steady play in doubles and are No. 68 in this week's national rankings. The duo has played a majority of their matches at the No. 2 position and hold a 5-2 record.
