WCC Play Continues in the Bay Area

San Diego travels to Santa Clara, San Francisco

San Diego's match against Santa Clara was originally scheduled for Friday at noon but was rescheduled to Sunday at 11 a.m. due to expected inclement weather.

SAN DIEGO –
No. 38 San Diego will look to continue its 10-match winning streak this weekend when it continues conference play on the road at San Francisco and Santa Clara.
 
The Toreros (12-2, 3-0 WCC) open weekend play against the Dons on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT. USD will have a quick turnaround for its match against the Broncos on Sunday at 11 a.m.
 
The Toreros have gotten off to strong starts in matches this year with strong play in doubles matches. Kati Kukaras and Gemma Garcia are on a team-best 11-match winning streak, while Solymar Colling and Maria-Paula Torres have won eight of their past 10 matches.
 
Colling has led the Toreros in singles play with a 9-4 record at the No. 1 position. Kukaras enters the weekend on a team-high four-match winning-streak.
 
Santa Clara split a pair of matches last week, defeating Hawaii Pacific and falling to Hawaii. The Broncos are 0-4 in conference play this season.
 
San Francisco enters the weekend on a three-match losing streak and holds a 1-3 record in conference play.
