Toreros Set to Face No. 10 USC

San Diego faces third ranked Pac-12 foe

SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's tennis (4-4) will welcome a top 10 team to the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center on Tuesday, March 16 as they take on the No. 10 USC Trojans (11-4) at 3:00 p.m. (PT).

It will be the third top 25 opponent the Toreros have faced this season, after falling 5-2 to No. 17 Arizona State on Feb 19 and 4-3 to No. 18 Arizona on March 7. 

All time, San Diego is 1-17 against USC, with the sole win coming in 2006. The Trojans beat the Toreros 4-0 when the teams last faced in 2019. 

Last time out, San Diego lost 4-1 to Texas Tech in Dallas, Texas.  The lone victory came from August Holmgren who has continued to show why he's recognized as one of the best players in the country.
