SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's tennis (5-5, 2-0 WCC) will take to the road this week as they travel to take on WCC opponent Portland (6-2, 0-0 WCC) on Thursday, March 25 followed by a non conference match against Oregon (12-2) on Saturday, March 27.
All-time the Toreros are 12-1 against the Pilots and are currently riding a four match winning streak. The schools last faced each other during the 2019 season, where San Diego won 6-1 on the road. The Toreros are 1-1 all-time against Oregon, winning 4-0 against the Ducks last season.
Last time out, San Diego defeated conference opponent San Francisco 5-2 and moved to 2-0 in WCC play. The Toreros won the doubles point and clinched the match with singles wins by August Holmgren, David Norfeldt and Blake Kasday. Nico Borter also won his singles match.
