SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's tennis (4-2) will be heading on the road for the first time in 2021 as they travel to Dallas, Texas to battle against SMU (10-7) on March 11 followed by Texas Tech (6-2) on March 12.
The matches will start at 10:00 a.m and 11:00 a.m. (PT) respectively.Â
All-time the Toreros are 2-5 against Texas Tech. San Diego won the last matchup between the two schools 4-2 back in 2018. The matchup between SMU and San Diego marks the first between the two programs.Â
Last time out, the Toreos fell to No. 18 Arizona 4-3 at home. The Toreros won the double's point and led 3-2 before Arizona came back for the win. August Holmgren continued his strong play with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over No. 50 Jonas Ziverts.Â
