Toreros Return Home

San Diego faces Santa Clara at home

SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's tennis (6-9, 3-2 WCC) will return home to the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center for a conference match versus Santa Clara (6-6, 3-3 WCC) on Sunday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. (PT)

All-time, the Toreros are 12-2 against the Broncos and won the last matchup in 2019 between the programs 4-2 in Claremont, Calif.

Last time out, the Toreros pushed four singles matches to three sets but lost a hard-fought match 4-0 at BYU. After San Diego lost the doubles point and two more singles matches, August Holmgren took his opponent the distance before falling 7-5 in the third set, which clinched the match for BYU. Both Nico Borter and David Norfeldt led in their third sets when the match was clinched.
