SANTA CLARA, CALIF. — San Diego baseball (25-8, 11-4 WCC) earned its fourth sweep of the 2021 season on Sunday afternoon, rallying with a six-run fifth inning to beat Santa Clara (12-23, 5-13 WCC) by a score of 6-4 at Stephen Schott Stadium. The game marked the Toreros' fifth victory in a row and the team's second consecutive WCC series win.
Graduate student

He was relieved by freshman
Jack Hyde (2-0), who tossed two innings out of the bullpen to receive the win before redshirt sophomore
Ryan Robinson and graduate student
Kieran Shaw teamed up for three scoreless frames to conclude the game and secure San Diego's 6-4 victory, with Shaw earning his seventh save of 2021 after the last out.
