Toreros to Begin Play at NCAA Regionals

San Diego one of 14 programs in Albuquerque regional

SAN DIEGO - San Diego men's golf will begin play in the 2021 NCAA Golf Regional at The Championship Course at University of New Mexico (Par 72, 7,248 Yards). The Toreros will be the 11 seed out of the 14 competing teams. 

The 54-hole tournament will take place from May 17-19. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will advance to the National Championships at Grayhawk. 

This season, San Diego has been lead by Charlie Reiter,  who was named to the All-WCC first team following a season that featured eight top 25 tournament finishes, including five top-ten finishes. Andi Xu and Jamie Cheatham earned conference honors as well, as they were named All-WCC Honorable Mention. 

The Toreros will be paired with Nevada and New Mexico State in the first round and will begin teeing off at the 10th tee at 7:55 a.m. (PT). Fans can follow along with all the action via Golfstat.
