SAN DIEGO — San Diego men's golf head coach Evan Emerick on Wednesday announced the signing of Connor Herrera, an incoming freshman who will join the Toreros ahead of the 2026-2027 season.

Herrera is a San Diego native who attends Classical Academy High School.

"Connor is an amazing player and person," Emerick said. "He has a great family around him. We are so excited for him to be a Torero and keep him in San Diego. He is super athletic, an elite ball striker with a great mental game."
