SAN DIEGO – The No. 47 University of San Diego women's tennis team defeated crosstown rival San Diego State on Saturday, 5-2.
 
After losing the doubles point, the Toreros battled back with five straight wins in singles play from No. 2 to No. 6.
 
USD improves to 6-3 on the season, including a perfect 4-0 at home.
