SANTA CLARA, CA – The No. 20 University of San Diego men's tennis team won its 11
th straight match on Sunday, defeating Santa Clara, 4-1.
For the second straight day, USD captured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 (
David Norfeldt/
Marvin Schaber) and No. 3 (
Will Davies/
Iiro Vasa).
In singles play, USD got victories from Schaber at No. 5, Davies at No. 6, and
August Holmgren at No. 1.
The Toreros improve to 17-2 (6-0 WCC) on the season.
