SAN DIEGO — San Diego women's soccer released its full 2022 schedule today, as announced by head coach
Louise Lieberman.
The Toreros' schedule features nine home games at Torero Stadium and 10 on the road, with nine West Coast Conference matchups plus 10 non-conference contests against some of the nation's most competitive college programs.
USD will begin its season on the road at Denver on August 18, then return home on Thursday, August 25 for its 2022 home opener against CSU Bakersfield. The season's inaugural homestand will continue with a matchup against SEC opponent LSU at Torero Stadium, then San Diego will travel across town to take on rival San Diego State on the SDSU Sports Deck on September 1.
Other non-conference highlights include contests against Long Beach State, Wyoming, Stanford, Cal Poly, and Northern Arizona before WCC play begins at Pepperdine on October 1. USD will host Portland, Gonzaga, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and BYU, and will visit Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, Saint Mary's, and Pacific.
