SAN DIEGO – In its first dual match of the season, the University of San Diego women's tennis team narrowly fell to #14 USC, 4-3. The Trojans earned the doubles point with a 7-6 (7) win at No. 1 in what proved the be the difference.
Jordyn McBride won at both No. 3 doubles (with teammate
Claudia De Las Heras) and No. 4 singles.
USD also got wins at No. 5 singles from
Elizabeth Goldsmith (7-6, 4-6, 7-6) and No. 6 singles from
Kailey Evans (6-3, 7-5).
