SAN DIEGO – San Diego women's cross country junior
Daniella Hubble has been selected to the West Coast Conference's All-Academic Team, as the conference announced on Friday.
Â
It's the first such award in Hubble's career. In addition,
Maggie Duba,
Aryam Jaimes and
Lizzie McVey were each named All-Academic honorable mention.
Â
It was another highly successful season for Hubble, who helped lead the way for the Toreros all season. The Seattle, Wash., native took home two, top-10 finishes, headlined by a second place showing at the San Diego Mesa College Invite, where she ran a 5K personal best of 18:46.4. Hubble was named the WCC's Runner of the Week following the race on Oct. 10, for her role in propelling the Toreros to a team title.
Â
Hubble also set a 6K personal best to open the season at the LMU South Bay Twilight, clocking in at 21:27.2. Hubble will be back in action in the spring, as she competes in the track & field season.
