SEATTLE, WA – In the round of 16 of the ITA Indoor National Championships, the No. 17 University of San Diego women's tennis team fell to No. 3 Texas A&M, 4-0.
The Aggies earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (6-3) and No. 2 (6-2).
Claudia De Las Heras and
Jordyn McBride were leading 4-3 before No. 3 went unfinished.
Four out of the six singles matches went to a third set, including De Las Heras at No. 2,
Elizabeth Goldsmith at No. 3,
Abigail Desiatnikov at No. 4, and
Kailey Evans at No. 5.
