SAN DIEGO – The San Diego track & field program heads outside the city of San Diego for the first time this season, traveling to the Beach Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State with competition on both Friday and Saturday.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- The Toreros will compete in several events, highlighted by the 800m, 1500m, 5000m and 3000m steeplechase.
- Daniella Hubble will lead the way as the sole competitor for the Toreros in the 3000m steeplechase.
- Hubble continues to hold a top-100 time in the West Region, ranking 92nd in the region with a season-best time of 11:16.43.
- Should Hubble set a new personal best, it could vault her into the top-80 in her region.
- Aryam Jaimes continues to be the standout runner for the Toreros track & field program, owning the best times by a Torero in the 800m, 1500m and 5000m.
- Jaimes will compete in the 5000m this weekend, alongside fellow top distance runners Macey Holt and Gianna Sbarbaro.
- Freshmen Maggie Duba and Stella Smith have quickly risen up the ranks as some of the top runners on the team and will be active competitors this weekend, competing in the 800m and 5000m, respectively.
- Competition will occur on both Friday and Saturday, as the Toreros open the backend of their six-meet schedule.
