SAN DIEGO - The No. 25 University of San Diego women's tennis team fell on the road to No. 13 Stanford on Sunday, 6-1.
The Cardinal captured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. The San Diego duo of
Claudia De Las Heras and
Jordyn McBride won at No. 2 by a score of 6-3.
Stanford won the first five singles matches to go ahead 6-0. At the No. 6 position, McBride won by retirement.
San Diego drops to 10-7 on the season, and will travel to SMU on Friday.
