SAN DIEGO – The No. 17 San Diego women's tennis program (9-4, 0-0 WCC) will open the conference season as part of a slate of two matches this weekend, hosting Cal State Fullerton (9-4, 2-1 Big West) on Friday at 11 a.m., and San Francisco (3-7, 0-0 WCC) on Sunday at 2 p.m., at the Hogan Tennis Center.

- The Toreros nearly battled back, but came up just shy in a 4-3 loss to No. 12 California on Mar. 16
- Claudia De Las Heras delivered a signature win at No. 1 singles, defeating No. 23 Hannah Viller Moeller, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (3), 1-0 (10-4) but the Toreros could not recover from losing the doubles point.
