No. 14 Women’s Tennis Makes Brief Trip to UC Santa Barbara

SAN DIEGO – The No. 14 San Diego women's tennis program (7-3, 0-0 WCC) heads out on the road for a Sunday matinee against UC Santa Barbara (5-6, 1-0 Big West) at the Arnhold Tennis Center.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Toreros defeated their local rival San Diego State, earning a big 5-2 win at the Hogan Tennis Center on Wednesday.
  • San Diego took the doubles point and followed it up with four straight singles wins, including a ranked win for Claudia De Las Heras over No. 73 Yasmine Kabbaj.
 
OPPONENT HISTORY
  • San Diego trails 10-15 in the all-time series against the Gauchos, but cruised to a 6-1 win at the Hogan Tennis Center last season.
 
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
  • San Diego moved back up to No. 14 in the nation, after spending last week at No. 16 in the nation during their break from the action.
