No. 21 Women’s Tennis Makes WCC Title Push in Final Week of Regular Season

SAN DIEGO – The No. 21 San Diego women's tennis program (14-5, 4-0 WCC) enters their final week of the regular season with eyes on a WCC title, hosting San Francisco (3-13, 0-5 WCC) on Wednesday at 11 a.m., before traveling to No. 8 Pepperdine (13-6, 4-0 WCC) on Friday at 1 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Toreros bounced back from some early adversity to down Portland, 4-3 on Sunday.
  • The depth of the Toreros came through, as the team got wins at No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to complete the rally.
 
OPPONENT HISTORY
  • San Diego is 19-3 all-time against San Francisco and will meet the program for the final time on Wednesday, with the program folding at the conclusion of the season.
  • San Diego is looking for their fourth ever win against Pepperdine and their first since 2012.
