SAN DIEGO – Season tickets for the upcoming San Diego women's soccer season are now available for purchase.
Prices start at $50 for the slate of seven home games at Torero Stadium. The home portion of the regular season begins on Aug. 18, as the Toreros welcome Long Beach State for a 1 p.m. matchup.
This season marks a new era for women's soccer at the University of San Diego, under the leadership of first-year head coach
Greg LaPorte. The Toreros have added 17 newcomers across the collegiate and high school ranks, as the new look lineup will tackle the ever-competitive West Coast Conference.
The Toreros will face several local opponents at Torero Stadium, including Oregon State for the first time since the school joined the WCC for women's soccer this season.
Several top players from years past also return, including last season's leading scorer
Lexi Zandonella-Arasa, as well as the veteran presences of
Katie Baxter,
Sara Evans and
Lauren Tanner.
San Diego is set to open game action with an exhibition against San Diego State on Aug. 8, before traveling to Cal State Fullerton for the regular season-opener on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m.
Single season tickets will be made available closer to the start of the regular season.
