Greg LaPorte has added another member to the women's soccer program, as
My Haugland Sørsdahl is set to join as a graduate transfer for the upcoming season.
Haugland Sørsdahl joins the Toreros after completing her undergraduate career at UCLA, where she won a national championship in 2022.

Career Highlights:
- Haugland Sørsdahl made 13 appearances over three seasons at UCLA and helped to contribute to eight shutouts on the back line.
- Six of those shutouts came this past season, as Haugland Sørsdahl played an active role in the stout Bruins defense.
- Her standout showing of the season came during a season-high 76 minutes of action in a start and win over Cal Poly.
- An accomplished student, Haugland Sørsdahl was named to the PAC-12 Academic Honor Roll each of the last two seasons.
- Prior to arriving at UCLA, Haugland Sørsdahl made waves while competing for the Norwegian national team.
- Haugland Sørsdahl played a total of 23 matches between the U16 to U19 levels for her home nation, including two games at the UEFA U19 Championship.
- In addition, Haugland Sørsdahl was a big part of Norway's run to the UEFA U17 Championship semifinals, beating an England side captained by Manchester City star Lauren Hemp to clinch a spot for just the third time in Norway's history.
Haugland Sørsdahl joins

Jenna Rubidoux (Air Force),
Elle Soleau (San Francisco/Boise State) and
Natalie Yoo (Texas A&M/Coastal Carolina) as veteran additions for the 2024 season.
In addition, the Toreros feature a seven-member freshman class of
Ella Callanan (Portland, Ore./Portland Thorns ECNL),
Hannah Faklaris (Atlanta, Ga./TopHat SC),
Clara Geuzaine (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Real Colorado ECNL),
Marissa Morales (Gilbert, Ariz./Arizona Arsenal SC),
Brianna Nesser (Riverside, Calif./Slammers FC ECNL),
Rhea Pearson (Salt Lake City, Utah/La Rocca ECNL) and
Chloe Walls (Chula Vista, Calif./San Diego Surf ECNL).
The Toreros will open action this fall with an exhibition against San Diego State on Aug. 8, before traveling to Cal State Fullerton for the 2024 season opener on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m.
