SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Olivia Bennett headlined a group of three Toreros that received 2025 WCC Volleyball All-Academic honors this week.

Bennett was named to the 2025 WCC Volleyball All-Academic Team and Kylie Munday and Tatum Lane were named 2025 WCC All-Academic Honorable Mentions, the West Coast Conference announced on Thursday afternoon.

A senior Neuroscience major who posted a 3.54 GPA, Bennett was named just the second WCC Libero of the Year in program history earlier this week after totaling 440 digs, 146 assists, and 20 service aces in 2025. She achieved her 1,000th career dig on November 22 and was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Week two days later. This is the second WCC Academic Honor of her career after she was also named a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention in 2024.

Munday, a sophomore who is undeclared, had a 3.30 GPA. She earned her second straight WCC Setter of the Year honor on Monday after totaling 1,108 assists, 273 digs, 65 blocks (seven solo), 65 kills, and a team-high 47 service aces in 2025. She is the first player in program history to be named the WCC Setter of the Year in back-to-back seasons. Munday achieved 13 double-doubles in 2025 and had 50 or more assists in six different matches. She was named the WCC Setter of the Week four times this season. This is her first career WCC Academic honor.

Lane, a junior setter, recorded a 3.52 GPA as a Business Administration & Marketing double major. She appeared in 27 matches and 83 sets in 2025, totaling 55 digs, 57 assists, and six service aces. This is her first career WCC award.

San Diego will play Kansas State in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament on Friday, December 5 at 2:30 p.m. PST at the Devaney Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. The matchup will be streamed live on ESPN+.
