SAN DIEGO — San Diego volleyball will play Kansas State in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, as announced on Sunday afternoon during the NCAA Volleyball Championship Selection Special on ESPN.

The Toreros (25-4, 18-0 WCC), seeded eighth in the Nebraska quadrant of the bracket, will take on the Wildcats (17-9, 10-8 Big 12) at the Devaney Center in Lincoln on Friday, December 5 at 2:30 p.m. PST. Television/streaming information for the matchup has not yet been announced.

USD is NCAA Tournament bound for the 27th time in program history after going undefeated in WCC play in 2025 to capture its 13th conference title.

San Diego last qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2022, when it won 28 consecutive matches and achieved a No. 2 ranking enroute to the National Semifinal.
