Men's Soccer Unveils Full 2025 Schedule

SAN DIEGO – The three-time defending West Coast Conference champion San Diego men's soccer program announced the team's full 2025 fall schedule on Monday morning.

USD's coming off a magical 2024 season that saw the program reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, which included a pair of impressive victories over both UC Davis and 10th-ranked Duke.

The Toreros' 2025 slate is highlighted by a return trip to Durham to face Duke on Thursday, August 21 in the season opener.  San Diego will face six other NCAA Tournament programs throughout their challenging slate. as USD looks ahead to matchups with: Furman, Denver, UC Santa Barbara, Kansas City, Seattle and Oregon State.

"Our schedule is challenging and exciting," USD head men's soccer coach Brian Quinn said. "Traveling to Denver and Duke early in the season will provide us with a true reflection on what we will need to do to make the Tournament again. Our non-conference home games are against teams that I believe have legitimate chances to make the Tournament and are games not to be missed at Torero Stadium. The key for us is to recognize that every team we play will be trying to knock us off our perch as WCC champions. It's a great time to be involved with Torero soccer, let's go!"

San Diego will take the field for the first time at Torero Stadium on Friday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. when they will take on UNLV in a free exhibition match that will be open to the public.

The Toreros will begin the regular season with four consecutive games on the road as they will take on Furman following the Duke match on Sunday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m. PT as USD will begin their season on the east coast.

Four days later San Diego will make their way back west to the Rocky Mountains as they will face off with Denver in a rematch of the First Round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament. USD will then look forward to taking on crosstown rival San Diego State on Monday, September 1 for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.

The home schedule will feature a stretch of five consecutive matches at Torero Stadium to wrap up non-conference play with the USD home opener taking place on Thursday, September 4 when the Toreros take on California Baptist at 7:00 p.m. San Diego will be back in action six days later for a tilt with UC Santa Barbara and will then take on Kansas City on Saturday, September 13 for the first of two consecutive matchups with teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2024.

San Diego will wrap up their non-conference slate with a pair of matchups against Southern California foes as they will take on UC Irvine on Wednesday, September 17 and UC San Diego on Sunday, September 21. USD's battle with the Tritons will be the team's lone home kickoff at 5:00 p.m.

The Toreros will then look forward to WCC action as they will head to the Bay Area for a matchup with Santa Clara on Saturday, September 27. USD will then return to the pitch a week later as they will host San Francisco on Saturday, October 4 for the team's home conference opener.

Playing in their lone two game week of the conference season, USD will take on LMU on Wednesday, October 15 and then will face the newest WCC program in Seattle on October 18 for a key Saturday night tilt under the lights.

San Diego will be enjoying spooky season at Torero Stadium when they host Pacific on Friday, October 31 and will then enjoy Senior Day eight days later for the team's final home match against Gonzaga on Saturday, November 8.

The Toreros will then wrap up the regular season calendar up in the Pacific Northwest as they will face Oregon State on Saturday, November 15 to wrap up the regular season schedule.
