SAN DIEGO – The West Coast Conference announced the league's new unbalanced conference schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 women's basketball season on Thursday morning.
San Diego women's basketball will compete in 18 total conference games next season with seven home-and-away series with two only home opponents and two away only matchups. The conference is moving to the new unbalanced schedule with the addition of Seattle back into the WCC as the conference grows into an 11 team league for the 2025-26 season.
USD's upcoming season features home-and-away contests with: Gonzaga, LMU, Oregon State, Pacific, Pepperdine, San Francisco and Seattle and will make lone trips to Portland and Santa Clara. The two programs that will compete against the Toreros at Jenny Craig Pavilion will be Saint Mary's and Washington State.
It will be an exciting season for the Torero program as the team begins a new era under first year head coach Blanche Alverson as she takes over as the fourth head coach in program history.
