CARY, N.C. – San Diego women's tennis kicked off its fall season Monday as junior transfer
Charlotte Keitel represented the Toreros, playing in the ITA All-American Championships Qualifiers first round.
Keitel, who played in the pre-qualifiers of the event while with Kansas State last year, made the step up to the next level to start this season, but ultimately fell in the first round of qualifiers, 3-6, 6-7 (1-7) to Stanford's Tianmei Wang.
Next, San Diego is slated to take to the USTA SoCal Championships on their own courts at the Hogan Tennis Center, from Thursday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 28.
