SAN BRUNO, Calif. – San Diego men's basketball's weekly WCC matchup schedule was released Friday morning with conference play set to start for the Toreros with a pair of home games, vs. Pacific and Gonzaga on Dec. 28 and Dec. 30 respectively.
USD will play 18 conference games over a 10-week span – playing four opponents once and seven opponents twice – with the first six game dates being set and the following 12, currently listed as midweek or weekend day ranges, to be fully set at a later date this fall. Official tip-off times are also to be determined. San Diego's conference byes are slated for the weekend of Jan. 17 and in the mid-week of Feb. 18.

The West Coast Conference has adopted a new scheduling format for men's basketball that includes conference games primarily contested on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and date flexibility with national television partners to provide more national exposure for the conference on additional days of the week. The 2025-26 schedule includes conference games on as many as five days in a given week after the first three weeks. Weekday games will be played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, and weekend games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. The conference matchup schedule of weekday and weekend games includes a select number of contests that have been assigned to specific dates for national broadcast opportunities. The full schedule of game dates along with broadcast information will be announced later this fall, following the completion of national television selections with the conference's partners, ESPN and CBS Sports Network.
The 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship returns to Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the 18th consecutive year. The 12-team tournament will be held from March 5-10, 2026.
