Finished second in the USF Intercollegiate (Sept. 12-13) with a five-under 205 (68-74-66)

Earned his first college victory at the PING Cougar Classic (April 22-23) after carding an 11-under 205 (68-68-69)
Compiled a scoring average of 71.88 across 36 rounds
Set forth San Diego's best 18-hole total of the season (62) in his final round at the Saint Mary's Invitational (November 10)
Led USD with a T-9 finish at the WCC Championships (April 28-30) that saw him shoot a three-under 213 (74-71-68)

FRESHMAN (2020-21)

AMATEUR

Narrowly missed the cut at the 2020 U.S. Amateur in Bandon, Ore. in August 2020 ... Shot 2-over in the two rounds of stroke play and worked his way to an 18-player-for-3-spot playoff ... Parred both holes in the playoff but missed out on advancing to the Round of 64 match play
Competed at the 109th California Amateur Championship at Torrey Pines GC (La Jolla, Calif.) ... Shot 7-over (74-77) and missed the cut after stroke play.

HIGH SCHOOL

A local standout, Xu finished his high school career ranked 6th in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings and 5th in his class
Also finished 13th in the AJGA world rankings in his class and 20th overall
Was a member of the International Team at the 2020 Junior Presidents Cup held in Melbourne, Australia in December 2019
Qualified for the 119th U.S. Amateur Championship in the summer of 2019
In 2020, finished 3rd at the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods (202, 68-68-66) and 6th at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley (211, 72-66-73)
