Biography
Junior [apos]09-[apos]10: In his inaugural season with USD, went 9-11 in dual singles competition... Competed at the No. 5 (2-4) and No. 6 (7-7) positions for the Toreros... Partnered with four different teammates in doubles, posting his best mark of 4-4 at No. 3 with sophomore Nikola Bubnic... This past fall was 8-6 in singles competition... Participated in the UC Irvine Invitational (5-0), the ITA Regionals, the So Cal Intercollegiate Championships, and the National Collegiate Tennis Classic.
Last College: Junior transfer from Fullerton College of the Orange Empire Conference where he was named Team Athlete of the Year in 2007.
High School: Attended the British School of Kuwait... Represented the Kuwait National Team four different times (U12, U14, U16, and U18).
Personal: Born in Mishref, Kuwait... Chose to transfer to USD for the great tennis program, outstanding business school, and the beautiful weather of Southern California... Loves to play and watch soccer during his free time... Favorite team is Manchester United... Dad, Jawad Hashem, played soccer for the Kuwait National Team...Plans to start his own business some day.
