HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB

• A 2017 graduate of Squalicum High School
• Two-time varsity letterwinner
• Won the 100 free 2A state title in her freshman year
• Earned the 3A state title for the 100 free in her senior year
• Lead her team to a second place finish at High School State Championships during her freshman year
• Guided her team to a first-place national ranking among 15-16 year olds in the 200m and the 400m medley relay during her junior year
• Steered Squalicum high school a BBST second place finish among women’s team at the PN Washington State Senior Championships during her senior year
• Set high school records in 100m and 200m freestyle
• Set the district record in 200m freestyle
• Named 2016-2017 WhatCom County Swimmer of the Year
• Awarded 2013 District Swimmer of the Meet
• Swam with the Bellingham Bay Club Swim Team
• Club Accomplishments: numerous BBST team records, US Open qualifying time and first-place national ranking in the 400m relay, PNS records in the 200Y, 200M, 400M and medley relays

• Daughter of Thuy and Robin Wong
• Chose San Diego because of the perfect balance of academics and athletics, challenging opportunities, great team atmosphere and coaching staff, location and size
• Enjoys hiking, skiing and playing the piano in her free time
• Also likes eating mac and cheese and spending time in the mountains
