What is your most memorable swimming/diving moment? Why?
Being part of finals at Metros, the biggest meet in the Metropolitan area. The atmosphere is so wild and full of excitement - it's contagious and always leads to best times and ridiculous team spirit. No matter my condition, each year I was able to achieve a best time in my 200yd Freestyle and contribute to the fastest 400yd Freestyle Relay Good Counsel has ever had. It's an unforgettable part of my four years as a Good Counsel swimmer that I will always cherish.

Describe yourself as an athlete and as a student.
As an athlete, I really just like to have a good time. Athletics has always been a good outlet for me and I always try to keep it fun! There is rarely a practice that you won't hear me laugh! But at the same time swimming has given me mental discipline and perseverance that have been really valuable in my academics as well. A balance between academics and athletics is the key to success.

What piece of coaching and/or personal advice has stuck with you over the years?
The clock doesn't care if you don't feel well or you're having a rough day, it will always tell the truth so never let it show your weakness.
