What separates this USD team from the competition?
We are all so close. Other teams I saw don't really hang out with each other outside of swimming, whereas we all stay close. We even all still talk with all the graduates to keep up with what's going on in their lives now after school.
What is your most memorable swimming/diving moment? Why?
When I got my US Open cut in the 400 IM at Nationals in Texas. I remember looking up at my coach and seeing his arms up in the air and him jumping up and down. My coach never does this.
What piece of coaching and/or personal advice has stuck with you over the years?
There are two types of people... the ones that love to win and the ones that hate to lose.
