Austen Jacobs

Austen Jacobs joined the University of San Diego football staff in 2022 and currently serves as the Offensive Line Coach. A seasoned developer of elite rushing attacks, Jacobs quickly made an impact at USD. In his second season, his offensive line helped pave the way for Isaiah Williams to become the first Torero running back named First Team All-PFL in nearly a decade. His 2024 offensive line unit was ranked No. 4 nationally in run blocking among 129 FCS programs by Pro Football Focus.

Jacobs has worked under some of the most respected minds in college football, including Mike Bobo, Rocky Long, Jim McElwain, Zach Arnett, Kevin Barbay, Will Friend and Mike Schmidt. Before arriving at USD, Jacobs contributed to one of the most successful stretches in San Diego State football history.
