He played a key role with both run blocking and pass protection as the Toreros ranked first in the nation in total offense (494.2 yards per game) and scoring (42.8 points per game)... Last year he made the transition from defense to offense and earned Mid-Major First Team All-America honors (Football Gazette)... In 2005 Gabe was a nose tackle with the defensive line unit... He totaled 21 tackles (6 solo) with 1 tackle-for-loss... Game-best 5 stops in win over Marist... In 2004 contributed 13 tackles (6 solo) in 9 contests.

    High School: His senior season at JK Mullen HS, totaled 90 tackles with five sacks earning All-League and All-State Honorable Mention for the 12-1 Centennial League Champions... Also helped JK Mullen to a 11-2 record and a League Championship his junior season with 70 tackles and two sacks, earning Second Team All-League honors... Was a four-time letter-winner...
