Coach Ryan Keckley about Marvin Schaber:
"Marvin’s one of those guys who is always laughing and telling a joke. He’s the kind of person that other people naturally gravitate toward. He has 100 percent bought into our system and everything that we have put in front of him. He’s an absolute workhorse. He has strong ambitions to play professional tennis after he graduates. He’s a guy who’s bought into our system and everything’s in front of him. He’s going to be an awesome Torero who continues to improve over the course of his time at USD."

- Paired up with David Norfeldt for five of the seven decisions in doubles, going 4-1
- First career singles win in duals was the match-clinching point againt San Diego State in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend
- Defeated Gonzalez Almazan 6-2, 6-4 to give the Toreros a 4-0 victory
- Won the State bracket of the Aztec Fall Invitational at San Diego State in October 2019
- Reached the consolation finals of the 63rd Annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championships in Los Angeles

Had a 13.13 UTR rating as of April 2019 ... Won the 2018 Germany U18 Regional Singles Championship ... Placed third at the 2018 U18 National Doubles Championships in Germany ... Finished 2018 ranked fifth in the U18 junior rankings and 144th in the German Men's Rankings.
