2026 Men's Cross Country Roster
Biography
HIGH SCHOOL
- Competed at JSerra Catholic High School under coach Kennie Arriola
- Helped JSerra win the CIF and California Division 4 cross country state championship, the first in school history
- Part of teams that placed second at the state meet as a sophomore and a junior
- Won the CIF Division 4 title in the 4x800-meter relay in 2026
- Finished second at the Trinity League Finals in 15:11.9
- Placed fourth among juniors at the Orange County Championships and was part of the 2024 team title there, finishing 18th overall
- Owns career bests of 14:45 in the three-mile, 15:35 in the 5K, 9:27 in the 3200 meters, 4:20 in the 1600 meters and 1:58.37 in the 800 meters
- Played two years of varsity tennis and won a CIF Division 1 title
- Earned honor roll recognition in four semesters
PERSONAL
- Born to Renee and Curt Carlson in Mission Viejo, California
- Began running in eighth grade and gave up tennis after his sophomore year to focus on it full time
- Plans to major in mechanical engineering
